The Knicks have acquired PG Emmanuel Mudiay from the Nuggets as part of a three-way deal that sends SF Doug McDermott to the Mavericks and G Devin Harris to the Nuggets, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
New York will also send the Nuggets a future second-round draft pick as part of the deal, reports Wojnarowski.
Mudiay, 21, averaged 8.5 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 42 games for the Nuggets this season, while averaging 17.9 minutes per game.
He was selected by the Nuggets with the 7th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
The 26-year-old McDermott, who the Knicks acquired from the Thunder before the season as part of the Carmelo Anthony trade, was averaging 7.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 55 games this season for the Knicks, while averaging 21.3 minutes per game. He is a restricted free agent after the season.
The Knicks, who lost Kristaps Porzingis for the season due to a torn ACL earlier this week, traded Willy Hernangomez to the Hornets on Wednesday in exchange for Johnny O'Bryant (who has been waived) and two future second-round picks.

I like this deal for the Knicks. Mudiay brings them a 21-year-old point guard to play with 19-year-old Frank Ntilikina. Mudiay gives them some more youth, which means we likely won't have to see any more of Jarrett Jack (who I'd be surprised if they keep).
Mudiay, Ntilikina, and Trey Burke give the Knicks a young backcourt, which fans will appreciate watching in this rebuild that is about to go down. Mudiay, who is under contract for next season for just over $4 million and will be a restricted free agent after next season, still has a lot of room to grow, and he'll be able to do that in this Knicks offense.
Yes, Mudiay's numbers have gotten worse since his rookie season, but he's also played less. He's going to get a chance with the Knicks to play 30-plus minutes every night. All of us would rather see some young guys while the Knicks try to bring another star in here.
McDermott was definitely fun to watch, but his minutes have been dramatically decreased. And he hasn't made shots consistently like he was in the first half of the season. McDermott was also going to be a free agent, so the Knicks got Mudiay for a rental, which isn't too shabby. It's unfortunate they traded Hernangomez, because it would have been fun watching even more youth on the team.
