The Knicks didn't get the No. 1 pick on Tuesday night at the NBA Draft Lottery. That isn't a disaster -- they have the No. 3 pick and can either land Ja Morant or RJ Barrett (or trade the pick as part of a package for Anthony Davis).
New York could have fallen to No. 4 or No. 5. Getting the No. 3 pick is good. But the New York back pages treated it as a tragedy.
