Spike Lee has added to his Knicks memorabilia collection, and he spent a pretty penny to do so.

According to the Associated Press, Lee recently purchased 13 Knicks-related items from an auction, held by the family of the Red Holzman, the former Knicks coach who passed away in 1998. The family had put 35 items up for auction, with Lee purchasing over a third of them.

Among the items purchased by Lee was an original net from Game 7 of the 1970 NBA Finals, when the Knicks defeated the Lakers 113-99 to win the NBA title, as well as Holzman's Larry O'Brien trophy from that same season.

Game 7 of the 1970 Finals is known for Willis Reed's triumphant return from an injury suffered earlier in the series. He played 27 minutes and scored four points, while defending Wilt Chamberlain. The Knicks went on to win the game, as Walt Frazier poured in 36 points.

According to the auction house, Lee paid $69,184 for the net, and $31,517 for the trophy.
