Andre Iguodala is tired of hearing about the Knicks landing top free agents this summer.
The Knicks have been linked to several top targets on the market, including Iguodala's teammate Kevin Durant. But he can't see anyone choosing to go play for New York at all.
"Nobody's going to the Knicks, sorry," Iguodala said on CNBC on Monday.
Other than Durant, another Warrior in Klay Thompson is also a free agent this summer, but there is a strong possibility he re-signs with Golden State.
Kawhi Leonard is another name associated with the Knicks. Though Leonard is "seriously considering" re-signing with the Raptors, the Knicks are expected to be "aggressive" in a pursuit of him, per SNY's Ian Begley. He opted out of his $21.3 million year with Toronto on Sunday.
The Knicks certainly have options, and they have the two max free agent slots. But does Iguodala know something we don't? Or is this strong statement just Iguodala not wanting to hear of his teammates going anywhere else?
We'll see if he's right this summer.
