Tacko Fall, the 7-foot-7 UCF product who was introduced to most of the nation during the Knights' game against Duke in the NCAA Tournament, had a strong showing at the NBA Combine in Chicago. And he now might be of interest to the Knicks.
Fall had been scheduled to work out with the Knicks on Monday, but that workout has been rescheduled due to a travel issue, according to SNY's Ian Begley. The New York Post first reported that Fall is on the Knicks' "radar" as a possible second-round pick in the NBA Draft. The Knicks, who hold the No. 3 overall selection, own the No. 55 pick, the sixth-to-last pick in the draft.
Fall's 7-foot-7 measurement in shoes, 8-foot-2 1/4 wingspan and 10-foot-2 1/2 standing reach all set combine records. By all accounts, Fall performed well in combine scrimmages. And Fall wasn't originally invited to the combine, only earning an invite after impressing in the G League Elite Camp.
