It was an uncharacteristcally quiet game from Duke PF Zion Williamson when the Blue Devils took on the Auburn Tigers in the Maui Invitational Semifinal on Tuesday night. But he managed to rack up double-digit points in the 78-72 win to help Duke stay undefeated and move on to the championship.
The Knicks potential draft target dropped 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting as well as 5-for-8 from the charity stripe. He did fill up the stat sheet elsewhere, though, with nine boards, two assists, and two blocks as well.
And one of his blocks came on a Tiger that tried to dunk on him. How do you think that one went?
Duke was led by R.J. Barrett once again with 18 points on 7-for-20 shooting, while Marques Bolden was an absolute beast around the rim with seven blocks to go along with 11 points.
Williamson may not have had the crazy windmill dunk to woo the crowd, but he almost had a vicious poster on a Tiger player, but the ball hit in the rim as he was fouled in the air.
