Here's my thing and I started talking about this on Twitter last night. What's changed? If the Times report is indeed accurate and the Knicks were going to simple give Amar'e away, what has changed? Injecting Amar'e into the mix COULD backfire and cause a distraction, especially if he knows he wasn't wanted here. I said the other day that there's zero reason to overcomplicate the situation but I may have spoken too soon. If they can't deal him and he doesn't fit this could really be devastating to the goal of winning a championship.
