Saying his back woes haven't let up, Amar'e Stoudemire said yesterday they have prevented him from seriously considering offers from overseas during the NBA lockout...Stoudemire pulled a back muscle before Game 2 of the Knicks' first-round playoff series vs. Boston in mid-April and was impaired the rest of the series. At an event in Manhattan on June 15, he said his back was still sore. This would appear to be bad news but let's be careful here. Speculating on injuries is not the right thing to do. Yes, it's a different injury but fans swore that Gallinari couldn't make it through a full season healthy because of his back. Again, that's NOT a comparison and it doesn't bode well for Amar'e that he's still having issues this far past the injury date.
