Overshadowed by Matt Harvey's?performance last night was Kevin Plawecki. The rookie catcher went 2-4 with three RBI in the Mets 8-2 win over the Yankees. Two of those three runs driven in came from his first career home run in the fourth inning off of CC Sabathia.

1) Matt Harvey will pitch in one of the team's?first five regular-season games, but Collins isn't sure if Harvey will pitch the home opener against the Phillies April 13. The Mets open the season on the road at Washington and Atlanta.

2) Harvey will be used the same way the Cardinals used Adam Wainwright in 2012, when Wainwright pitched 198 2/3 innings after missing the 2011 season after Tommy John surgery (which Harvey had in 2013 and forced him to miss last season).
