With the No. 137 pick in the NFL Draft, the Jets selected guard Dakota Dozier out of Furman.

Dozier is a 6-foot-4, 313 pound first-team?AP FCS All-American who started in all 14 games during the 2013 season. He was also unanimously named to the All-Southern Conference first team in both the 2013 and 2012 seasons. Dozier spent most of his college career playing at left tackle, but spent time practicing at guard?and played at the position late in the 2013 season.

Scouts have pointed out that Dozier has ideal size and a strong base, but they also point out that he does not have clean footwork. CBSSports.com's draft profile projected that Dozier would be selected in either the third or fourth round. This seems to be another popular pick among the fanbase and looks like pretty good value at the end of the fourth round. Dozier's main attribute is his strength and it sounds like he has the kind of nasty streak fans always enjoy.
