Reno Aces (AZ) 1, @ Las Vegas 51s 7

Wednesday was another productive night for the 51s offense, banging out seven runs 15 hits in their 7-1 win over the Reno Aces at Cashman Field. It marks the fifth time in the first six games of the current homestand Vegas has managed double-digit hits, averaging 13 per game over that span. Not so coincidentally, they've won four of the last six ballgames.

Josh Satin (pictured) had a big night at the plate, collecting four hits in five turns and driving in four runs. It's his first four-hit game of the season as well as his highest single-game rbi total. It's also the third multi-hit game for the California native in the last four, during which time he's batting .555.

After driving in a run with a single in his first at-bat, ss Omar Quintanilla was lifted from the game for a pinch hitter and is reportedly heading to New York to join up with the big league club. This news comes on the heals of a quad injury to Ruben Tejada suffered in Wednesday's game against the Yankees. It's possible - and some would say probable - Tejada was bound for demotion to AAA in the near future because of poor play. It appears Quintanilla will get his shot to put the New York jersey on without the need for a demotion. He leaves Vegas on a nine game hitting streak.

Carlos Torres got the win for the 51s: 6.2IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 7K, bolstering his record to 4-3.
