In his final tuneup before the AA playoffs, RHP Logan Verrett was solid: 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HR.

Frank Francisco handled the eighth, yielding a hit and a walk while fanning one.

A+: @ St. Lucie Mets 16, Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA) 0

DH Jayce Boyd had a nice day, going 4-for-5 with a double and three RBI to close out the St. Lucie season.

Jeurys Familia threw a scoreless first inning in his first rehab appearance for St. Lucie. I wonder if he will join the Gnats or Cyclones for a few more innings in the next week.

RHP Domingo Tapia (3-9, 4.62) was solid: 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K. He induce nine ground outs and allowed just one air out.

After the game, SS Mat Reynolds and C Kevin Plawecki were promoted to AA Binghamton.
