According to a team press release, LHP Mike Antonini took the start and threw two solid innings. The Georgia College & State U. product allowed just one hit while walking none and striking out three.
SS Ruben Tejada, back from the World Baseball Classic, went 3-for-3 with a double, two singles, and four RBIs in the victory.
The B-Mets resume their schedule tomorrow against the Springfield Cardinals, affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Antonini certainly will be starting in Binghamton, but Tejada is still up in the air... it's either St. Lucie or the B-Mets, and I would probably bet on the FSL...
