Now Commenting On:

Ike Davis and Lucas Duda threw to each other at Tradition Field on Wednesday morning.

Davis is not wearing the boot he had on earlier this week to stabilize his calf muscle. Davis last played in a Grapefruit League game on March 2. He has just six official at-bats this spring.

Duda is still recovering from a tight hamstring. He took indoor batting practice Monday for the first time in a week. The team hopes he will play in a game by this weekend (Daily News, Mar. 10).

Duda said he believes he can hit soon, but won't be able to play in the field for another few days (Ackert, March 12).
