Salt Lake 3 - Las Vegas 7: Right-hander Greg Peavey was outstanding in his first game since being promoted back to Vegas from Binghamton, becoming the second 51s starter to complete eight innings this season. The 25-year-old gave up eight hits and three runs, while striking out three and not walking a batter. Brandon Allen and Allan Dykstra each blasted home runs. Matt Reynolds was 1-for-4 with a pair of runs batted in. Josh Satin doubled and singled twice in four at-bats. Binghamton 8 - New Britain 3: Dustin Lawley had a big night, going 3-for-5 with a homer, double and four rbi. Brandon Nimmo was 1-for-5 and is batting .171 in double-A, while Dilson Herrera was 1-for-4 and is batting .356. Bradenton 2 - St. Lucie 5: RF Eudy Pina had three hits in four at-bats with a triple and three runs batted in. Cam Maron had his 18-game hitting streak come to an end, going 0-for-2 with two walks. Rome 1 - Savannah 8: The top six batters in the Savannah lineup accounted for all 13 of their hits. 2013 1st round draft pick Dominic Smith had three hits, including a double and a run batted in.
