Trenton 2 - Binghamton 5: Greg Peavey improved to 7-1 and lowered his era to 2.70 with seven outstanding innings on the hill. The 26-year-old gave up one run on four hits with seven strikeouts and no walks. He hasn't lost a game in Double-A since his first start of the season, April 14. Brian Burgamy and Dustin Lawley hit back-to-back homers in the opening inning. Burgamy added a second home run in the 5th. St. Lucie 1 - Tampa 4: L.J. Mazzilli accounted for the only St. Lucie run with a solo homer in the top of the 1st. It was his third long-ball in the Florida State League and broke an 0-for-12 streak at the dish. Aderlin Rodriguez supplied the other extra base hit, which was a double. Lexington 0 - Savannah 5, game 1: Starting pitcher John Gant didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning and wound up throwing a complete game, one-hit shutout. The right-hander struck out eight and walked one, while lowering his era to 2.76. Gant has allowed one run in his last 15 innings on the mound. Matt Oberste extended his hitting streak to 19 games with a pair of singles. Dominic Smith was a perfect 3-for-3 and drove in two runs. Lexington 1 - Savannah 3, game 2: Matt Oberste extended his hitting streak to 20 games, driving in a run with a single in the 1st inning. Dominic Smith picked up his fourth hit of the doubleheader, drove in a run and scored once. His batting average is now .299. Williamsport 0 - Brooklyn 6: Michael Conforto had his first multi-hit game as a professional, going 2-for-4 in his second game with the Cyclones. Jhoan Urena continues to impress at the plate, smacking a pair of hits, including a double and drove in two runs. He's hit safely in six straight games, with four multiple-hit games during that stretch. Amed Rosario was 1-for-4 and scored twice. Corey Oswalt pitched exceptionally well, tossing seven shutout innings and allowing just two hits with no walks for his third win. >>Read more at

Princeton 3 - Kingsport 7: Oswald Caraballo picked up two more hits to extend his streak to four games. Pedro Perez launched a two-run homer in the 6th inning.
