Who is starting for the Mets?
Mets LHP Steven Matz (4.14 ERA/4.77 FIP, 1.270 WHIP in 148 innings) will make his final start of the season and his second start against the Marlins this month. Matz allowed three runs in three innings against the Nationals his last time out, but turned in a quality start against the Marlins on Sept. 13 when he gave up three runs in 6 1/3 innings.

Who is starting for the Marlins?
RHP Trevor Richards (4.66 ERA/4.18 FIP, 1.396 WHIP in 119.2 innings), who shut out the Reds for seven innings on Sunday, allowing just three hits. Richards struck out nine batters in what was the first time he completed six innings since July 28.
