Now Commenting On:

David Wright went 3-for-4, including two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored, on Tuesday night against the Marlins.

The two doubles snapped a career-high 20-game stretch without an extra-base hit.

"It's nice to feel dangerous at the plate," Wright said, who is 6-for-12 with six RBI in his three games. "It's nice to feel comfortable, it's nice to feel dangerous, and that's kind of what I've felt lately."

Wright is batting .228 in the 41 games since the All-Star break. He has not a hit a home run since July 11, 43 games ago.

"The second half has been difficult," Wright said. "To finally feel something click a little bit and carry it over into the game, it feels good and it's a positive."
