The Mets (82-72) and Phillies (63-85) play the third game of their four-game series on Saturday night, which you can watch on SNY or follow online here.
Sean Gilmartin (0-0, 4.76 ERA) will get the start for the Mets and will be opposed by RHP Alec Asher (1-0, 2.16 ERA).
Gilmartin will be making his first start of the season, and just his second major league start, in place of Noah Syndergaard, who has strep throat. He has not allowed a run in five relief appearances in September.
Asher will be making his fourth start of the month, seeking his second win. Last time out against the Marlins, he allowed two runs on six hits in 4.1 innings. He had pitched at least six innings in his two previous starts. On Sept. 30 against the Mets last season, Asher allowed five runs in a start where he recorded just two outs.
