Result: The Mets defeated the Phillies to end a five-game series in Philadelphia on Monday night, 11-2. Wilmer Flores had a grand slam in the top of the ninth inning for New York.

Need to Know: The Mets' bats were alive, with the team recording ten hits to score 11 runs for its fourth victory against the Phillies in five games. Lucas Duda's second-inning double sent in New York's first run of the game, and doubles by both David Wright and Flores extended New York's lead to 5-0 in the top of the sixth. Philadelphia's Ryan Howard and Ben Revere sent in runs for the Phillies, but the Mets crossed home plate six times in the ninth, with aid of the Flores grand slam, to seal the win. Bartolo Colon had a strong performance in his seven innings on the mound, allowing six hits and two runs with five strikeouts for his fifth win.

Game Ball: Flores sent the ball flying deep over the left-field fence for a ninth-inning grand slam to extend the Mets' lead by nine runs. The shortstop batted 2-for-5 with a career-high six RBIs in Monday night's victory.

What's Next: The Mets will travel to Chicago to begin a three-game series against the Cubs on Tuesday at 8:05 p.m. Zack Wheeler will start for New York against Chicago's Jake Arrieta.
