Dillon Gee will make his return to the starting rotation on Wednesday night, his first game since May 10.

Gee will be held to a 90-95 pitch count, Terry Collins said on Monday (Vorkunov, July 7).

He made three appeareances in the minors while rehabbing, recently throwing six innings for the Single-A Brooklyn Cyclones. Gee allowed three hits, one earned run, walked one and struck out 10.

Gee was placed on the disabled list in May with a lateral strain.

He signed a one-year deal in January for $3.625 million.
