Curtis Granderson is expected to play in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Marlins, manager Terry Collins told reporters on March 2.
Granderson was diagnosed with pinkeye earlier in the week, team officials said.
"He feels good, the medicine has worked," Collins said. "Tomorrow he won't go on the trip, but he'll be ready for Friday."
Granderson said the issue had already cleared up by Tuesday, though he continued to follow doctors orders sitting out camp earlier in the week.
The 34-year-old Granderson hit .259 with a .364 OBP and .457 SLG with 26 home runs and 70 RBIs in 157 regular season games in 2015.
