Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports early guess is that Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes will receive a four-year deal worth $100 million this offseason.
Heyman cites a source who said there's "zero chance" Cespedes will not exercise his opt-out clause.
Cespedes, 30, agreed to a three-year deal worth $75 million with the Mets last offseason that includes an opt out after this season.
He is hitting .288 with a .358 OBP and .557 SLG with 30 HR and 79 RBI in 117 games this season.
In 174 games since being traded to the Mets last July 31, Cespedes has hit .288 with a .351 OBP and .574 SLG with 47 HR and 123 RBI.
Of the Mets' other pending free agents, Heyman predicted Neil Walker would receive a deal worth $24 million over two years and that Bartolo Colon would get $12 million for one year.
