The Mets beat the Rockies 7-4 on Wednesday afternoon thanks to a ninth inning rally. The team scored four runs to take the lead including an RBI single from Seth Lugo. Starting on the mound was Noah Syndergaard, who lasted 5.2 innings after allowing four runs on 10 hits and two walks. Rene Rivera was the catcher for Syndergaard, and ended up going 0-for-3 from the plate. Wilson Ramos will be back in the lineup against the Reds, as the catcher is batting .293 on the season.
