Mets RHP Jacob deGrom will pitch in a simulated game on Wednesday, the team announced.
DeGrom struck out eight batters across five scoreless innings against the Orioles last Friday in what was his second start of the spring.
He has struck out 12 batters in 7.2 innings of Grapefruit League action this spring.
The 29-year-old deGrom missed time earlier in camp for the birth of his child before subsequently suffering from minor back soreness, but is still on pace to pitch the second game of the season.
DeGrom went 15-10 with a 3.53 ERA in a career-high 31 starts and 201.1 innings of work for the Mets last season.
