22-year-old Mets closer Jenrry Mejia became the second-youngest pitcher in franchise history to reach 20 saves.

Neil Allen had 22 saves as a 22-year-old in 1980.

Mejia struggled through much of August, but has since locked down three straight scoreless appearances.
