Now Commenting On:

Shaun Marcum pitched two scoreless innings today in a B game against the Marlins in Jupiter, Fla.

"I've still got some work to do, but I feel like I located a lot better," he said after the game. However, "My mechanics, arm slot, and delivery need to get better," he added.

Marcum asked out of official game action, and requested pitching in a B game, to avoid potential injury risks that popped up on his last spring. He said today his arm, shoulder and elbow all felt good following today's outing.

He said he will return to pitching in Grapefruit League games the rest of the spring.
