Bartolo Colon has allowed six, four of which occurred Sunday against the Angels. Dillon Gee has given up five.
"Those kind of guys, they’ve got to pitch down in the zone," Terry Collins said, in regards to Colon and Gee (Newsday, Apr. 14). "When they’re up, it straightens out, and when it straightens out they’re going to get hit hard."
Meanwhile, the Mets have hit just 10 home runs, good for No. 12 out of 15 teams in the National League. They're on pace to hit roughly the same number (130) they hit in 2013.
Lucas Duda leads the team with three home runs. No other player has more than one.
