Mest 2B Asdrubal Cabrera is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday night -- a night after leaving Tuesday's game early due to re-aggravating a hyperextended elbow.
Mets manager Mickey Callaway had said Cabrera should be able to play on Wednesday.
Cabrera seemed to be injured after a bang-bang play at second base. During that play, Philadelphia's Nick Williams was attempting to steal the base and Cabrera was applying a tag after a throw from catcher Devin Mesoraco.
Cabrera appeared to be in pain and went to the clubhouse for an examination. But he returned for an at-bat in the sixth inning, when he lined out. He then left the game.
