Brandon Nimmo is battling yet another injury.
The Mets outfielder left Tuesday's game after the third inning with a left oblique twinge, the team announced.
Nimmo, 25, reached base on an error in the second inning, which helped score a run.
He was replaced in center field by Juan Lagares.
Manager Mickey Callaway described the injury as "mild" after the game but stopped short of saying whether or not Nimmo would need an MRI.
"I don't think so yet. We'll figure out if he needs one," he said.
Nimmo had just returned to the lineup on Saturday after missing a few games due to a stiff neck.
