Mets 3B David Wright played seven innings at third base and went 1-for-4 with an RBI single on Tuesday in his latest rehab game with Single-A St. Lucie.
Wright's RBI single came in his final at-bat of the game during the seventh inning.
Wright's latest game follows his two-hit game on Sunday with St. Lucie. His first hit on Sunday marked his first hit since beginning his rehab assigment.
Although the Mets' captain continues to work his way towards a potential return, Mets assistant GM John Ricco said Monday that it "remains to be seen" whether Wright will have enough time to get ready.
The 35-year-old, who is looking to return from various back, neck and shoulder injuries, including spinal stenosis, last played in a major league game in May of 2016.
