Players in a local softball league game at DeWitt Clinton Park in Manhattan were greeted by a surprise guest on Tuesday night: Dom Smith.
The 23-year-old Smith met the players, signed autographs, took photos, and even had pinch-hit in the softball game, reports Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

Smith played in 56 games for the Mets in 2018, hitting .224/.255/.420 with five home runs and 11 RBI. In 84 games with Triple-A Las Vegas this season, Smith hit .258/.328/.380 one season after posting a .330 batting average in 114 games last season in Triple-A.
