The Mets have optioned INF Luis Guillorme to Triple-A Las Vegas, and recalled RHP Gerson Bautista.
Guillorme has been struggling with the Mets this season, as he owns a .172/.250/.207 slash line over 29 games. He also committed two errors in last night's loss to the Pirates. Guillorme is known for his glove, which makes his trouble in the field worrisome.
Bautista rejoins the Mets for the third time this season. His most recent call-up came on May 28.
In five games with the Mets this season, Bautista owns a 12.46 ERA/11.18 FIP after allowing six earned runs over 4.1 innings.
