Mets 2B Jeff McNeil left Sunday's game against the Nationals with right quad tightness but does not consider it to be serious.
McNeil, who extended his hit streak to 11 games with a single in his second plate appearance of the day, left the game prior to the seventh inning and was replaced by Jose Reyes.
The 26-year-old McNeil said he thought the injury was "nothing too major."
The rookie has hit safely in each of his last 13 starts. He is hitting .353 this month, which is seventh in the NL in August.
