Mets OF Brandon Nimmo left Saturday's game in the seventh inning with a hamstring strain.
Manager Mickey Callaway said after the game that the strain "looks kind of mild" but that Nimmo will not play in the season finale.
The 25-year-old Nimmo was removed from the game after he singled to right field in the bottom of the seventh. Jack Reinheimer came in to pinch run.
Nimmo, who went 1-for-3 on the night, finished with a .263 batting average and entered the night with a .404 on-base percentage, which ranked second in the NL and fourth in the majors. He also ranked third-most triples in the NL, with eight, and was been hit by a pitch 22 times -- the most in the majors.
Nimmo hit a career-high 17 homers this season.
