Conforto, 22, was promoted to Double-A Binghamton three weeks ago, and is hitting .377 with a .482 OBP and .623 SLG to go along with two homers and 12 RBI in 19 games played.
Prior to his promotion to Binghamton, Conforto hit .283 with a .350 OBP and .462 SLG with seven home runs and 28 RBI in 46 games for High-A St. Lucie earlier this season.
"I think I spy another hitter," an excited Keith Hernandez said about Conforto on SNY after seeing him hit an RBI double during spring training in early March.
According to MLB.com’s prospect insider Jonathan Mayo, Conforto has the potential to regularly hit 25 home runs in the big leagues.
Conforto was drafted in the first round (10th overall) in last year's MLB Amateur Draft.
