Mets OF Brandon Nimmo (bruised left index finger) went 1-for-3 with a single and a run scored in a rehab game with Single-A St. Lucie on Saturday.
Nimmo led off and played center field in the same game as David Wright, who played third base as part of his own rehab assignment.
Nimmo walked in the first inning, flied out in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning. He flied out in the sixth and was eventually replaced in the eighth inning.
The 25-year-old outfielder landed on the 10-day DL (retroactive to Aug. 17) due to the bruised left index finger he suffered when he was hit by a pitch on a check swing last week. Mets GM John Ricco said he expects Nimmo to return when eligible on Aug. 27.
Nimmo is hitting .263/.387/.503 with 15 homers, 21 doubles, eight triples, and eight stolen bases in 109 games this season.
