Now Commenting On:

According to ESPN New York's Adam Rubin, the Mets recently sent a survey to select fans asking how much more likely they'd be to go to Citi Field if they received the following item with their ticket:

Backpack; Bobblehead; Cap; Coasters; Collectible cup; Drawstring bag; Fleece blanket; Key chain; License plate frame; Magnetic schedule; Mini bat; Mini glove; Mousepad; Parking sign; Pennant; Picture frame; Pins; Puzzle; Sleeved blanket; Sunglasses; T-shirt; Texting gloves; Tote bag; Toy subway cars; Travel case; Travel mug; Visor; Wiffleball and Bat Set; and Wristband.

I see 'pennant,' though, as Rubin points out, I suspect they mean the tiny flag on a stick not the gigantic one symbolizing success that hangs in the stadium... though, might I suggest the latter (along with more wins, home runs, a productive outfield, catcher and a new contract for their best hitter) if they're looking for increased attendance.
