Who is starting for the Mets?
RHP Walker Lockett toes the rubber for the Mets in their first Grapefruit League game this spring. Lockett, 24, was acquired from the Cleveland Indians in January in exchange for C Kevin Plawecki. The right-hander appeared in four games with the San Diego Padres last season, going 0-3 as a starter with a 9.60 ERA (7.03 FIP) and 12 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched.
Who is starting for the Braves?
RHP Touki Toussaint gets the call for the Braves as the right-hander attempts to pitch his way into the rotation this spring. The 22-year-old appeared in seven games for Atlanta last season, going 2-1 in five games started and pitching to a 4.03 ERA (3.78 FIP) while striking out 32 in 29 innings pitched.
