RHP Noah Syndergaard (3.06 ERA/2.57 FIP, 1.18 WHIP in 11 starts), who makes his long-awaited return to the Mets rotation after being out since May 25 due to a strain in his right index finger.
Syndergaard recently pitched for Class-A Brooklyn on Sunday, where he allowed one run, two hits and one walk through 71 pitches in his first live action since the injury. HIs fastball was topping out at 98 mph during the outing.

RHP Tanner Roark (4.76 ERA/4.58 FIP, 1.37 WHIP), who has lost his last four outings. His latest came against the Marlins where he allowed four runs on 10 hits while striking out five and walking three over four innings.
Roark has allowed double-digit hits in back-to-back starts.
