RHP Seth Lugo (2.85 ERA/3.15 FIP, 1.04 WHIP in 53 2/3 innings over 25 appearances), who had a rough outing against the Rockies in his last start. Lugo's defense didn't help much as he allowed six runs, three earned on six hits while striking out five and walking two over three innings.
After not allowing a run in his first two starts of the season, Lugo has allowed eight earned over his last two. Luckily, Lugo loves Citi Field this season, as he owns a 0.90 ERA over 30 innings.
Who is starting tonight for the Pirates?
RHP Jameson Taillon (4.03 ERA/3.70 FIP, 1.22 WHIP in 82 2/3 innings over 15 starts), who took the loss in his last start against the Brewers. He allowed three runs on seven hits while striking out seven and walking one over five innings.
