I hope you had a Merry Christmas, fellow Mets fans! Unfortunately, we were not gifted with the big bat we wanted, or the outfielder, second baseman, or pitcher we wanted, but maybe Santa Sandy is just a bit late this year...
You'll have to follow our favorite Mets to see how they celebrated this holiday, but here's some things you may have missed from the past week, and yes you guessed it, more Mets weddings!
Steven Matz walked down the aisle, and I'm hoping that his thumbs up is both over excitement of being married and a way of subtly confirming to fans that his arm is good to go for 2018.

Meanwhile, Seth Lugo popped the question to his now fiance while away in Hawaii.
He also had time for some baseball with some really important players.

Like myself, Noah Syndergaard celebrated Festivus.
Oh, and Jerry Blevins never has to pay to attend a baseball game ever again. That's what I would have liked for Christmas as well.
To help us all bask in the glory of the '86 Mets, Doc Gooden posted this gem of him and Darryl Strawberry. Hey, do you guys wanna come back and play? The 2018 Mets can use your help.
And finally, Matt Harvey deleted his Instagram. Why, you may be asking? I have no idea. But I'm sure you're already theorizing several possibilities in your heads.
