After losing game two, the Cyclones will play a decisive game three at Hudson Valley tonight.  Auburn won at Tri-City to even up their series and now also have a game three tonight in Troy.

Luis Cessa is the Cyclones choice for game three.  The had perhaps his best start of the year in his last start, when he pitched into the 9th against Lowell.  W, 8.2 IP, 1 R, 6 H, 1 BB, 2 K.  The low strike out number is not unusual for him as he's struck out 44 and allowed 13 walks over 72.1 IP, and allowed NYPL batters to hit .241 against him.  On July 2nd he faced the Renegades in a game Brooklyn would win in 11.  4.0 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 3 BB, 4 K.  On June 26th he faced the Renegades in a game Hudson Valley would rally to win after he left 5.0 IP, 1 R, 6 H, 1 BB, 3 K.  Dimas Ponce is 3-for-7 in two games in the second spot in the lineup after putting up a .200/.263/.260 line through the regular season as the defensive 3B hitting low in the order.

Boyd, Plawecki and Sabol combined to go 0-for-12 with 1 BB in game two, after three hits and being involved in two of the runs scored in game one.

Taylor Guerrieri 2011 first round pick (24th overall) struck out 45 and walked 5 over 52.0 IP and allowed NYPL batters to hit .186 against him.  He faced the Cyclones on Aug 29th 5 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 4 K in a game the Cyclones would win against the Renegades lefty Harrison who pitched in game one.  He also faced the Cyclones on June 25th 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 6 K, so that's 10 IP and 0 BB against the team that lead the NYPL in walks.  C/DH Luke Maile is 4-for-9 in the first two games.  SS Leonardo Reginatto is 3-for-7 and has played error free defense.
