Who is starting for the Mets?
RHP Noah Syndergaard (8-6, 3.86 ERA) will be facing the Indians for the first time in his career. The righty failed to reach 7.0 innings in his last outing, going just 6.0 innings against the Royals. He gave up two earned runs on five hits and struck out six batters, but got the loss. The Mets are 5-1 over Syndergaard's last six starts at home, dating back to June 9.
Who is starting for the Indians?
RHP Aaron Civale (1-2, 1.50 ERA) has reached at least 6.0 innings in all three of his career starts. The 24-year-old got a win in his debut against the Detroit Tigers on June 22, striking out six and not allowing any runs.
