Ryan Fraser (1 IP, 2K), the Mets 2010 16th round pick, picked up his 3rd save, with a perfect 9th inning. In 9 appearances Fraser is: 0-1, 0.71 ERA, 3 SV, 12 1/3 IP, 6h, 6bb, 21K.
Luis Nieves (2-2, HR, 2RBI) provided all the offense the Cyclones needed with a 2-run homerun in the 3rd inning. Darrell Ceciliani (1-3, IBB) stole his team leading 11th base.
Aderlin Rodriguez is on a tear right now. The 18-year old out of the Dominican Republic collected four hits, including two doubles, and three rbi. Over his last 12 games Rodriguez is hitting .423/.436/.846, and for the season he is hitting .323/.359/.667. Rodriguez is 2nd in the APPYL in doubles (9), homeruns (8), and RBI (21). On Thursday, Rodriguez was named APPYL Player of the Week.

Mets 2010 10th round pick, Akeel Morris made his first start of the season. On a strict pitch count, Morris went two innings, giving up one hit, no runs, walking two, and striking out one. The Mets are excited about the 17-year old Morris. Minor League pitching coordinator Rick Waits had this to say about Morris,
"Talk about a quick arm. Electric arm, but hasn’t had a whole lot of pitching in the Virgin Islands. It’s good baseball, but not enough."Brant Rustich pitched a perfect inning of relief, striking out one.
