Six Brooklyn Cyclones players have been named to the New York Penn-League All-Star game this season.
Ross Adolph, Carlos Cortes, Yeudy Colon, Wagner Lagrange, Jaison Vilera, and Billy Oxford will represent the Mets' Single-A affiliate at the All-Star game, which is taking place in University Park, P.A.
Adolph and Larange will start in the outfield and Cortes will start at second base. Larange has hit .286 with 17 RBI 21 runs scored, and six stolen bases this season, while Adolph has a .790 OPS and is second in the NYPL with seven triples.
Vilera, a starting pitcher, has dominated the NYPL this season with a 1.43 ERA and 63 strikeouts. Colon has three saves to go along with a 1.25 ERA and Oxford, who was selected in the 27th round last year, has a 1.80 ERA.
Cortes, a third-round pick this year, is hitting .276 with two homers and 13 RBI in 27 games.
