Yeah, sure, he's walking too many batters. Also, the league can't hit his stuff. He's throwing in the mid 90s, around 95, and touching 98. It's time to give the 21-year old a taste of the South Atlantic League for a month.
I was asked on Twitter whether he was a top-10 guy in the Mets system. I think so. Based on MLB promotions, and the usual seasonal rearrangements, it would be hard to keep a lefty with plus velocity and a chance to have an average curve and changeup out of the top 10.
