CF Alonzo Harris led the way for the B-Mets, going 3-for-4 with a late homer to help the B-Mets win the rubber game of the series. Harris after a quick start, has slowed down the last two weeks or so and is hitting .266/.298/.403 with five walks against 20 strikeouts in 29 games in AA. The 24-year-old is 11-for-13 stealing bases. Still, he must get on base more to hit at the top of a lineup.
2B Danny Muno was 2-for-3 with a walk, he's now drawn 21 free passes in 29 games for a .222/.375/.322 line. I'm not sure how that extremely high-walk (and high strikeout) approach will play in the big leagues.
Mark Cohoon can still provide the AA decent innings: 5 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 8 K.
Meanwhile, in the bullpen, LHP Jack Leathersich fanned three and walked a batter in the ninth. In 15 innings, he's struck out 27 (good) and walked 11 (bad).
Cesar Puello was 1-for-4 with an RBI to extend his hitting streak to 12 straight games. The 22-year-old is hitting .313/.340/.511 over his streak, which is tied for the longest in the EL this year.
