Cuddyer, who working his way back from a tendonitis in his wrist, hit off a tee and threw prior to Tuesday's game, according to ESPN New York (Sept. 8, 2015).
Cuddyer initially felt pain in his wrist toward the end of August. He has not played since last Wednesday, when he started taking anti-inflammatory medication. He had been struggling with his grip and range of motion, he told reporters last Friday.
"I've played through it for about six or seven days now," Cuddyer told ESPN's reporter Adam Rubin on Sept 4..
He is batting .327 with six extra base hits in 19 games since returning from the disabled list, where he spent two weeks rehabbing a sore left knee.
