Now Commenting On:

After tonight's 5-1 loss to the Cardinals, Terry Collins spoke to reporters and had the following to say about:

[sny-box color="fff"]

Jeurys Familia, who pitched a scoreless eighth inning in his MLB debut:

"You saw what he's got. He's got a live arm and he's got good movement on the ball. I was very happy for him that he pounded the strike zone. It was a great sign for his first outing. I was really excited for him. I don't know where he's going to fit and what role he's going to be in as time goes by, but I wanted to get him in there as soon as I could."

Matt Harvey, who pitched five innings and allowed three runs on six hits and will he have anymore starts:

"He's an impressive guy to be around. He's upset that he didn't pitch good tonight but he pitched okay. He demands a lot of himself which I like a lot...He's so determined to be good that it's going to be fun to watch him develop...It hasn't been determined but there aren't going to be very many more (starts)."[/sny-box]
